The constituency
About East Hanover
East Hanover is a constituency in the historic Hanover Parish — Jamaica's smallest parish, and one of its most beautiful. Stretching from the vibrant parish capital of Lucea through communities including Green Island, Sandy Bay, Hopewell, Cascade, and Jericho, the constituency is home to tens of thousands of Jamaicans whose daily lives are shaped by decisions made in Kingston.
The PNP's commitment here is simple: to make sure those decisions work for East Hanover. That means roads that don't damage vehicles, water that runs reliably, schools that are properly resourced, and an economy that gives young people a reason to stay and build their lives here.

Economic Development
Creating jobs through BPO, tourism, and agro-processing industries. Turning renters into homeowners and building 520 new homes at Round Hill. Bringing real employment opportunities to Sandy Bay and beyond.
Social Development
Revitalising youth programmes, reopening community centres, expanding healthcare access, and empowering senior citizens. Building safe communities where every family can thrive.
Infrastructure
Upgrading water systems across all communities, improving roads and connectivity, and developing the facilities our constituency needs to grow into Jamaica's next model constituency.
