Biography
Andrea Purkiss made history in September 2025 as the first woman elected to represent Hanover Eastern in the Jamaican Parliament. A community educator and advocate with over fifteen years of service in Hanover Parish, she ran on a platform of practical action — roads, water, youth opportunity, and community investment. She brings to Parliament the voice of every family in East Hanover who believed things could be better.
