Justice That Belongs to the People
Constitutional Reform
Supporting the transition to a republican constitution, removing colonial ties, and championing the Caribbean Court of Justice as our domestic path to accessible justice for all Jamaicans.
Republican Transition
- Support the removal of British colonial ties from our constitution
- Champion an accessible domestic justice system for all Jamaicans
- Align with PNP Party Leader Mark Golding's vision for constitutional modernisation
Caribbean Court of Justice
- The CCJ is already established, funded, and willing to hear cases in Jamaica
- The Privy Council requires a British visa (cost: $22,511.77 for a 6-month stay) plus substantial legal fees and international travel
- The CCJ is the viable, accessible, and Caribbean alternative for our people
